Display Carvings - The Ballwin Pointe

Our display cabinet at Ballwin Pointe has carvings from several members. We allow all members to display their carvings. Jan 6 we had a demo day, displaying carving from members: Larry Keller, Steve Botkin and Glenn Miller.

Our club carving show at the United Methodist Church was a great success. It was held in conjuction with the Men's Club BBQ.

Midwest Artistry in Wood Carving Show 2023

Childrens Miracle Network Charity 2023


Our club carving helped the Children's Miracle Network by selling Christmas Ornaments in 2023. We raised $650 for the organization. Check was delivered by Keith Krewson and Larry Keller to Teresa Nguyen.

Club Day at Woodcraft 2023


Our club participated in Club Day at the Woodcraft shop in St Louis on Oct 21, 2023 along with the St Charles Area Woodcarvers, the Midwest Woodcarvers, Woodturners of St Louis and the St Louis Woodworkers Guild.

Our club participated in a training day learning how to make Teddy Bear Ornaments.

Bill Kuhn club auction. Bill's family donated a majority of his personal collection of blanks, carvings, and some tools to club to liquidate. All money goes to West County woodcarvers for the betterment of the club. Members will have August meetings to review/bid/buy, The balance will be available to the public at our West County Wood Carving Show on Sept 14, 2024 at the Salem in Ballwin United Methodist Church 14825 Manchester Rd Manchester, MO 63011.
